Yachad Israel is dedicated to enhancing the opportunities of individuals with disabilities, ensuring their participation in the full spectrum of life activities. Yachad members participate in social, vocational, and recreational activities which enable them to achieve this goal. Yachad Israel chapters are located in Yerushalayim and Beit Shemesh with participants coming from all over Israel. Yachad Israel is a member of the National Jewish Council for Disabilities.Contact

Vocational Training Programs
prepares special needs individuals who have completed school to join the workforce. This is carried out by:
- Guiding individuals through ‘the Work Readiness process
- Helping individuals with resume writing and interviewing
- Practicing skills related to professionalism, food preparation, site maintenance, interpersonal skills & personal responsibility.
Relationship Building Courses
a program for individuals with developmental disabilities to acquire practical social skills necessary in a variety of social and vocational settings. In the program individuals:
- Establish meaningful personal relationships.
- Meet in small group setting with trained facilitators.
- Learn communication skills & social cues including self-advocacy, safety and social media.
Family Services
Yachad’s Annual Family Shabbaton (Weekend Retreat) provides parents and siblings with access to professionals and a peer support network. Workshops offer families vital up-to-date information they need to take better care of their loved ones. Workshops offer:

- Social Skills
- vocational readiness and family dynamics
