Return & Renewal — In the Footsteps of Rav Kook, zt”l

I want to thank you for the wonderful, inspiring and moving tiyul we had today at Rav Kook’s house. The madrich was excellent and Rabbi Shor’s personal anecdotes added to the experience in creating a connection to the Rav.

I know he was the Chief Askenazi Rabbi. Today, I learned about the different parts of his life and his love for each Jew and Eretz Yisrael.

What was totally amazing was how Hashem put the Rav in Europe at the time of the Balfour Declaration and how instrumental he was in getting the British committee to approve and issue it.
