Monday-Sunday, June 11-17, 2018:

  • In Poland: 3 Nights/4 Days (June 11-14, 2018)
  • In Israel : Shabbaton in Yerushalayim, (June 15 & 17, 2018)
    With Scholar in Residence Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, Executive Vice President Emeritus, Orthodox Union and Rabbi Sam Shor, Program Director, OU Israel Center

Monday – June 11th

Arrival in Warsaw Chopin International Airport:

  • Lodz – Second largest Jewish community in Europe prior to WW2
    • Lodz Cemetery
    • Lodz Ghetto
    • Chelmno
    • Dabie
      • Return to Warsaw

Tuesday – June 12th

  • Warsaw – Largest Jewish Community in Europe prior to WW2
    • Warsaw Jewish Cemetery – location of the kvarim of great luminaries such as Rav Chaim Brisker, the Netizv, Chemdat Shlomo and many others
    • Umschlagplatz – Location of the great deportation to Treblinka
      • Lublin
    • Majdanek Concentration Camp
    • Yeshiva of Chachmei Lublin – Rev Meir Shapiro’s legacy – Daf Yomi
    • The Lublin Cemetery – Chozeh of Lublin
      • Overnight in Lublin

Wednesday June 13th

  • Krashnik Synagogue

  • Overnight in Krakow

Thursday June 14th

Friday June 15th

  • Friday evening June 15th- Tefila and Dinner @ OU Israel Center

Shabbat June 16th

  • Tefila followed by Kiddush and shiur with Rabbi Tzvi Hersh Weinreb at OU Israel Center
  • Lunch at OU Israel Center
  • Late afternoon- Stones with Soul-Jewish Quarter Walking Excursion with Rabbi Sam Shor, followed by Mincha at the Kotel
  • Seudat Shlisheet followed by Maariv and musical havdala at OU Israel Center
  • Melava Malka and closing kumsitz at Dan Panorama Hotel

Schedule of payments to secure registration:

  1. Deposit of $500.00/person is due by December 31, 2017.
  2. Balance due by February 15, 2018

Cancellations & Refunds:

  1. $250.00 refund/person for cancellations before, February 1, 2018
  2. 90% refund/person for cancellations from, February 1-28, 2018
  3. 50% refund/person for cancellations from March 1-April 10, 2018
  4. 25% refund/person for cancellations from April 11-May 15, 2018
  5. Cancellations after May 15, 2018 – Full Charge
