This week is Parshat Vayera and it is also the International Shabbos Project. As part of that, we will be learning a a bit about the Parsha, participating in a Challa baking demo with Mrs. Aviva Dworken, and singing along in a pre-Shabbos kumsitz with Rabbi Rami Strosberg!

In terms of supplies, if you are able to, please make challa dough (any recipe) prior to the event. Your child will then do the hafrashat challa and braiding with the teacher. If you don’t have time to make dough beforehand, that’s ok too. Supply them with some playdough to practice their braids, or just let them watch and learn how to do, so they can try it out later.
